Achievements give us a sense of worth, instil pride, and serve as launching pads for even greater heights. They are not merely outcomes—they are the visible tip of an iceberg, beneath which lie vision, self-belief, hard work, determination, and consistency. As much as they reflect success, even more is embedded in the preparation—the quiet perseverance, the untiring efforts, and the learning curve that shapes character and builds resilience.
In this edition of Impetus, we take great pride in highlighting the recent achievements of our students and school, both academic and non-academic. These accomplishments are not accidental; they are the culmination of a nurturing environment, dedicated teachers, and students who dared to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary.
It reminds me of the story of a rock that lay unnoticed by the roadside for years. People considered it useless—until one day, someone bought it. Many thought the buyer was deluded. Years later, the same rock was unveiled as Moses, the masterpiece of Michelangelo. People marvelled and asked where this brilliance had been hidden. Michelangelo simply replied, “It was there all along, hidden in the rock. It only needed someone to see it.”
Our teachers are like Michelangelo—they see potential in every student. They shape, mould, and carve possibilities into reality with patience, vision, and passion. The school, in turn, provides the infrastructure, support, and opportunities necessary for such excellence to emerge.
I extend my heartfelt appreciation to our staff for their relentless pursuit of excellence and their commitment to forming not just achievers, but fine human beings. In every achievement, creativity, innovation, and unwavering human effort play an undeniable role. Therefore, the success we see today is not surprising—it is the natural outcome of vision backed by consistent effort.
